Our Video Recording Manager (VRM) software adds system-wide recording management for Direct-to-iSCSI RAID storage. It enables IP cameras and encoders to stream directly to disk, and distributes video to different arrays on the network. VRM pools all your system’s disks and allocates storage on demand. It balances video loading across your network, making full use of available space to squeeze the most out of your storage investment. You also gain added flexibility as you can add storage easily as your surveillance system grows.
Unmatched reliability
VRM's redundancy and automatic fail-over capabilities deliver unmatched reliability. If an iSCSI disk array fails, VRM immediately redirects camera traffic. VRM also prevents gaps in recording because of network outages. Its automatic network replenishment (ANR) architecture ensures video data can be buffered on a Bosch encoder or camera with local storage in the event of an outage. When the network connection is re-established, the buffered video is used to replenish any recordings missed while the network was unavailable.
