Video and intrusion products honored for innovation
FAIRPORT, N.Y. - Bosch Security Systems, Inc. announces three award wins in the Security Industry Association's annual New Product Showcase (NPS) program, which recognizes innovative products and solutions in electronic physical security.
The AutoDome 800 Series HD Pan-Tilt-Zoom Camera System won the Best in Video Surveillance Cameras HD (Megapixel) award. AutoDome 800 Series HD outdoor cameras are the first 1080p high-speed pan-tilt-zoom domes to deliver 20x zoom for highly detailed imaging at great distances. With 360-degrees of coverage, full HD resolution and day/night functionality, users can capture the details needed to identify fine features in a scene, such as faces or license plates.
Bosch's Blue Line Gen2 Motion Detectors were awarded the Best in Intrusion Detection and Prevention Solutions. The new detectors provide improved catch performance, enhanced false alarm immunity and easy installation.
They deliver 40x40 feet wall-to-wall, gap free coverage area and First Step Processing to intelligently differentiate motion by human targets from other sources of movement. The detectors' two sensors must agree there is an alarm before the relay activates - delivering an instant response to intruders without false alarms. They are available in standard and pet-friendly models.
Conettix D6200 Programming/Administration Software claimed the Best in Commercial and Monitoring Solutions designation. Conettix D6200 central station receiver software includes a GSM/VoIP Compensation mode to process alarm signals modified by Voice over IP (VoIP) or digital phone networks. The software's digital signal processing technology enhances the performance of receivers when interpreting these signals by more than 75 percent. It improves the ability of Bosch's Conettix D6600 and D6100i Communications Receivers to interpret control panel signals even if they do not meet the formatting requirements of the DTMF communications protocol.
The NPS is held annually in conjunction with ISC West International Security Conference & Exposition in Las Vegas - one of the largest gatherings of security industry professionals. NPS was established in 1979 to recognize innovative products, services and solutions in electronic physical security. Technologies showcased through this program are used in the protection of life and property in residential, commercial and institutional settings.
