1080p IP minidomes provide uncompromising vision
FAIRPORT, N.Y. - Bosch Security Systems, Inc. introduces the FlexiDome HD 1080p Day/Night IP cameras, the latest additions to the Bosch high definition (HD) video portfolio. The cameras combine full HD resolution images with excellent low light operation and color reproduction to give customers an advanced level of detail for their surveillance applications.
FlexiDome HD 1080p Day/Night IP cameras deliver uncompromising vision even in busy, colorful scenes. A specially selected image sensor provides superior detection and analysis. Images are exceptionally clear, making it easier to identify items,while different color tones can be distinguished even in poor lighting.
The cameras feature a new, next-generation design which incorporates a flat window that aligns with the lens for clearer images that are undistorted by the protective cover. Operators can zoom in to any part of a scene to examine specific details without losing clarity.
The two megapixel cameras enable easy identification of faces, objects and alphanumeric information over a wide area. Conforming to the HD standard, the FlexiDome HD 1080p cameras produce images in the 16:9 aspect ratio that provides increased situational awareness with a maximized field of view.
Optional Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA) flags alarm events on screen to ensure operators never miss suspicious activities. The higher pixel densities captured by FlexiDome 1080p cameras enable optimized performance of IVA with improved detection for loitering, line crossing and other potential threats.
Installation and set up is very simple. The cameras start up quickly and have a user-friendly control interface that allows fast configuration. The motorized automatic back focus makes it easy to get the sharpest image the first time and ensures accurate focus for both day and night operation. Power over Ethernet support ensures no additional power supplies are needed, and the cameras are extremely energy efficient. FlexiDome HD cameras also conform to the Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) standard for easy integration with third-party security solutions.
The vandal-resistant cameras have a professional look and feel, are constructed with careful attention to detail and can be mounted to allow a ceiling view. They feature an extended operating temperature that makes them suitable for hot or cold outdoor environments and the rugged IP 66/NEMA-4X-rated dome can take on the worst weather conditions.
