Bosch has released the latest version of Bosch Video Management System (Bosch VMS) 3.0 featuring HD imaging support. Developing upon the previous version of the easy to use system, it also has added features and capabilities that optimize security while minimizing installation and operating costs.
Designed for large-scale applications, Bosch VMS 3.0 is capable of managing more than 2,000 cameras and up to 100 operator client connections. The scalability in managing more channels and clients results in a system that can fulfill increasing demands in the current video surveillance market.
Bosch VMS 3.0 offers a unique enterprise IP video security solution that provides smooth management of digital video, audio and data across any IP network. It is designed to work with Bosch surveillance products as part of a total video security management system. Bosch VMS 3.0 can support the latest 1080P HD Dinion camera and VIPXD-HD decoder, enabling full integration of Bosch products.
Multiple methods of playback are possible with direct attached storage—such as Secure Digital or Compact Flash cards or internal hard drives in encoders and IP cameras—as well as with Bosch Video Recording Manager with iSCSI devices, Bosch Recording Station (BRS) and DiBos Digital Video Recorders. This effortless integration protects your existing investment and provides a single platform for viewing video from multiple sources in system.
In cases where the central server connection is no longer available or the central server has low bandwidth connectivity, the operator client continues to work and live playback and export remains possible. Central server dependency and maintenance issues are greatly reduced.
Configuration and operation is also simple with the system’s server and client architecture. It can be set up from any operator client that is within the IP network.
Bosch VMS 3.0 is suitable for a wide range of applications including airports, city centers, casinos, manufacturing facilities, and other large building structures.
